My husband, Richard, and I are shutterbugs.  We rarely take pictures of each other.  However, we love to capture the world around us and travel across the country looking for new things.  Enjoy!

Hope and Love Spring Eternal At least that is what a bleeding heart reminds me of in April.

Snappped in my rear garden in 2003

Emerson, my wise and wonderful kitty.

Do you know how impossible it is to take a picture of a black cat? His nickname is smudge.

Betty- she will never allow you to ignore her. She greatly enjoys food and laps.

The photographic kitty :-)

Jordon Pond in Bar Harbor. A single chair with a single occupant. It is calming and yet very lonely.

Atlanta Botanical Gardens March 2004

The apple trees were the only things blooming. We went south for the warmth!

Need a tire?

Walking on pit lane during a racing event will show you many things. Including the never ending pile of rubber!

Matt Kenseth #17 DeWalt Rousch Ford

He was an understated champion. But, it made a great picture!

Bushkill Falls, PA

A lovely walk can be had here. It reminded me of a lost valley deep in the forest. How thoughtful of the management to build all the bridges and walkways.

Mountain Laurel on Camelback Mountain

In the Pocono Mountains, Mountain Laurel is abundant. In late June, the slopes are polka dotted in pale pink amongst the deep green of the foliage.

The Delaware River

Near the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. With effort, bucolic settings can be found. Even if it is across the river from New Jersey ;-)

A Walk in the Woods

The beauty of a New England autumn is best appreciated up close and personal.

Milkweed

In its fall splendour. Like a field of tall dandelions, the seeds drifted over the meadow in a flurry of soft snow.

It's the smell of damp leaves.

The sharp contrast of the dulled autumnal rainbow against the October sky...

and the crunch of the leaves beneath your feet.

Sunshine glows above your head through a canopy the rustles like stiff silk.

And reflections stop. It's a moment stolen out of your life.

Down the road...alone. Yet, you are surrounded by the teeming masses of the world.
